I’m asking these questions, because the more you observe people around you, the more you will notice that most people around you going through life just to survive.

What is thriving in life? Isn’t it okay just to survive? Why is it important to thrive? Surviving is staying at the same place. Thriving is making efforts for progress. Thriving is living your life to the fullest. It’s so vital for you to allow yourself to grow. It’s important to make efforts to give meaning to your life. We are all capable of so much in our lives no matter what negative experiences we’ve had in our past. Here are the 12 mantras to thrive in life you need to know about –

Read daily:

Reading is the first step in building something. Reading is the first step to thriving in life.  Reading gives ideas. If you don’t have ideas, read.  If you have ideas, but can’t articulate them, write. If you have ideas and have the clarity to execute, build.  Don’t focus on reading an entire book, read 10 pages a day.  Slice it up. Break it down. Start with a small and manageable piece. Show up consistently. Build momentum. Turn your vision into reality.

Write daily:

Grab a notebook. Start writing every day.  Write out exactly what you want in your future, don’t miss a detail. Then, break it down into goals. Decades, years, months, weeks, and days. Every day, write down the 3 action steps you can take to progress toward your vision. A dream without clarity is a nightmare. Writing gives you clarity. The hardest thing is not doing what you want – it’s knowing what you want. Writing will help you to know what you want.

Take ownership:

I was born in a slum. But I never let the slum mindset work on my mind.  I studied in a normal government school. But I started building myself with self-learning.  English was not my first language. But I made English part of my routine and life. When I got addicted to social media, I kept my mobile in a locked almirah for years to get rid of it.  When I got addicted to video games, I committed myself not to enter in Gaming zone. When I got addicted to porn, I started praying to God for recovery and started practicing semen retention. When I started falling in love with a girl, I stopped myself and I started rising with love with motherland.

When I failed in engineering, I started finding my life through writing. When I was feeling empty. I started seeking purpose and mentors who could help me. When I wanted to build my skills, I started working for free with marketing agencies. At the beginning of my career as a solopreneur, I used to work on any projects that used to come my way. When I wanted to build a community of solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, and artists, I started “Daftar Space” to unite them in one place.  I took ownership and started changing my life. Take ownership of your problems and You’ll realize you’re the creator of your life.

Challenge yourself:

Challenge yourself to take one conscious risk every single day. If you don’t take risks you’ll be doing the same boring thing for the rest of your life. Right now, taking no risk is the riskier thing you can do. Always push yourself to progress and move forward. Life is a constant iteration. Challenge yourself. Take a risk, see what happens, then do better next time. If you repeat this process, your life is guaranteed to change.

Seek truth, avoid news:

There is no new in news. In media, Stories are different, but intentions are the same. Every day media is coming up with different stories and the same intention of putting junk in your mind. The goal of media is to make every problem, your problem and transfer your time into their money. The method of the media to scare and control you is to show you only problems and make them yours. Ignoring the media is a life hack. Seeking truth and doing what’s necessary should be your goal. The fact will help you to organize your life and establish peace in your mind.  The closer you get to the truth, the more silent you become inside.

Share valuable content:

There’s value, inspiration, and a unique perspective in your personal experience.  Write it down. Organise it well. Share it on social media. Learning how to share it effectively is the path to mastery. Perspective is what holds value. Knowledge is just the commodity. Think of it as a guide for someone who hasn’t yet gone through what you have.  Your story is valuable. Sharing also makes us feel less lonely. When we read other people’s stories, we feel understood, and others can find the same existential relief in ours. It’s about being honest and trying to help people to get to the point where you are.  Just share it like you would help a friend to achieve what you’ve achieved.

Find peace, avoid politics:

Politics is junk food for the mind. The more you consume it, the more you go away from peace. If you want to be miserable, care about politics. It’s so untruthful. Politics can ruin your mindset completely. If you want to have only negative emotions, then care about politics. They want to distract you. They want you to rely on them. Life is a million times better when you aren’t constantly upset by politics. Focus on bettering yourself and live your life.

Stop selling, start helping:

Selling = Helping

The more you help people, the more they trust you. The more they trust you, the more they buy from you. Being successful at business has nothing to do with “selling”. The best salespeople are the ones who are curious to help others. People are more likely to do business with someone they trust and feel is looking out for their best interests. When you put the customer first, they’ll be more likely to return the favor.  So helping people instead of selling to them pays off better in the long run. If you help enough people get what they want, You’ll have what you want.

Stop chasing, start attracting:

To attract positive things in your life, start by giving off positive energy. Don’t expect something in return for being a decent human being. Just be a good person for the sake of being a good person. This is how you attract abundance into your life. Be the energy you want to attract.

Stop marketing, start teaching:

When you teach, you’re marketing ideas. When you inspire, you’re marketing change.  When you persuade, you’re marketing beliefs. Start sharing ideas about your products or services.  Teaching is helping. Teaching is empowering. Teaching is new marketing.

Join coworking space regularly:

The path to a brighter future begins with stepping out of your comfort zone. Coworking spaces are hubs of innovation and collaboration. By immersing yourself in such an environment, you can tap into a network of diverse professionals, creative ideas, and potential collaborators. It’s where new possibilities and pathways to success emerge.

Stand up for what you believe in:

By standing up for what you believe in:

  1. you’re expressing who you are
  2. you’re giving meaning to your life
  3. You’re seeking what you want out of life

If you will not stand up for yourself, no one else will.  Even if your ideas don’t change a thing,  you are still putting your real self out there.  The more you do it, the real you will come out.
